itselectric Wins L.A. New Mobility Challenge 2022 During CoMotion LA

The L.A. New Mobility Challenge is an annual global startup competition focused on innovative, zero-emission solutions for the challenges of urban mobility.

CoMotion is a global platform where the most innovative transportation and technology companies, as well as civic and business leaders from across the mobility ecosystem explore, collaborate, and interact to share ideas and make deals.

LOS ANGELES, NOVEMBER 30, 2022 – Brooklyn-based, itselectric, has won the L.A. New Mobility Challenge 2022, a global startup competition focused on innovative, zero emission solutions for the challenges of urban mobility. The competition is hosted by CoMotion in partnership with the UK Government and Alliance for SoCal Innovation.

itselectric, founded by Tiya Gordon and Nathan King, provides curbside charging for electric vehicles to ensure that every community - no matter the median income or prevalence of driveways and garages - has access to clean transportation.

CoMotion reviews applications from across the globe and looks for startups that are making a real impact in our ecosystem. Applications are narrowed down to seven finalists who present their innovative mobility solutions to investors and public leaders during CoMotion LA. Previous winners include ENSO, Zeti and Xtelligent.
