Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded losses, but remained above the key $2,000 mark this morning.

FTX Token (CRYPTO: FTT) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Terra Classic (CRYPTO: LUNC) turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.4 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 1.4%. BTC was trading lower by 0.8% at $37,053 while ETH fell by around 1.4% to $2,016 on Tuesday.
