Sharp (OTC:
SHCAY) posted a net loss in its fiscal second quarter.
Sharp posted a quarterly net loss of Y249.1 billion ($3.11 billion), versus a year-ago net profit of Y9.4 billion.
Its revenue declined to Y645.5 billion. For the full year, the company now projects a net loss of Y450 billion, versus its August forecast for a loss of Y250 billion.
Sharp shares closed at $2.12 yesterday.
