UPDATE: Harman Reports 21% Rise In Q4 Sales

Harman International Industries Inc

reported a 21% rise in its quarterly sales. Harman posted its quarterly operating income at $26 million, flat versus the year-ago period. Excluding special items, Harman's earnings came in at $0.34 per share from continuing operations. The company's quarterly automotive segment sales came in at $760 million. Harman shares dropped 5.13% to $28.50 in pre-market trading.
