UPDATE: Air Products Reports FQ3 Net Profit of $326.5M

) released its results for the fiscal third quarter on Friday. APD's quarterly net profit rose to $326.5 million, or $1.50 per share, from $253.2 million, or $1.17 per share, in the year-earlier period. Its sales climbed 11% y/y to $2.58 billion from $2.25 billion. Analysts were expecting earnings of $1.46 per share on sales of $2.52 billion. APD projects Q4 earnings in a range of $1.48 to $1.53 per share, versus analysts' estimates of $1.53 per share. APD shares gained 1.36% to close at $95.41 yesterday.
