Shares of
Sprouts Farmers Market Inc (NASDAQ:
SFM), a natural and organic food grocer, were trading higher by around 3 percent on Monday as the company's stock will be included in the S&P MidCap 400 index after the close of trading.
S&P Dow Jones Indices, the owner of the S&P MidCap 400 index,
announced on Friday that Sprouts Farmers Market will replace
SolarWinds Inc as the company has been acquired by Silver Lake Partners and Thoma Bravo.
Sprouts Farmers market cap as of late Monday morning was around $3.54 billion. Its stock has lost more than 35 percent over the past year.
