We deployed a couple of cool new features this morning. All current holdings tables for any clone are now sortable; simply click on the column header to sort that table using that column as the sorting criteria. This feature is really useful when viewing fund group top holding or best ideas clones; you can quickly find which managers in the group hold the same stock. Also, to find which holdings in a clone are trading down or up the most since the end of the quarter, you can simply click the "% Change" column under the Price section - makes it really easy to identify the bargains.
You will notice that we've also inserted a new column in the current holdings table called "Clone Weight %". That column shows you what weight is allocated to every holding in the clone. This makes it that much easier for you to rebalance your positions when following a particular clone (see table below).
Finally, for popularity clones, you can now expand each row in the table to view which managers hold a specific stock. For example, the table below is for the Tiger Cubs core strategy (based on Top 10 Popularity). The table shows Google is held by ten managers. By clicking the number "10" in the "# of Funds" column I can expand the row to view who the ten managers are. I can collapse the row by clicking again.
We're constantly looking to add new features based on member feedback. For those of you who missed the announcement a few weeks back, make sure to check our our new "historical holdings" tables. They allow you to go back and view any manager's filing since inception (not just a few quarters). The tables include the ability to see "smart lists" such as sector allocations, new buys, sellouts and ETF/ADR holdings.
Finally, stay tuned! Next feature up is REALTIME REBALANCE for all single manager clones. As of next rebalance date (mid August), all single manager clones will be rebalanced as we receive filings from the manager (previously we waited five trading days after the filing window closes to rebalance a manager's clones). Best way to stay up to date on AlphaClone announcements is to subscribe to our blog's feed.
