Company sells its products globally to original equipment manufacturers, system integrators and end users. It markets its products internationally through its direct sales force. As of February 28, 2014, Company have over 160 patents issued and over 250 pending patent applications around the world relating to optical fiber lasers, amplifiers, bulk optics, semiconductors, and laser and telecommunications systems. Company's product line includes: High-Power Ytterbium CW (1,000 - 100,000 Watts) used in automotive and heavy industries. Mid-Power Ytterbium CW (100 - 999 Watts) used in medical devices, printing and microelectronics. Pulsed Ytterbium (0.1 to 200 Watts), used in panel display, general manufacturing. Pulsed and CW Green Lasers used in solar, semiconductor. Quasi-CW Ytterbium (100 - 900 Watts) used in computer components and micro-processing. Erbium Amplifiers used in cable TV, broadband access and scientific research. Majority of its laser and amplifier products sold in the United States are classified as Class IV Laser Products under the applicable rules and regulations of the Center for Devices and Radiological Health of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
