Nuveen Preferred & Income Opportunities Fund is a diversified closed-end management investment company.

Its primary investment objective is to provide high current income, and its secondary investment objective is total return. The fund invests a majority of its assets in preferred securities and other income-producing securities, including hybrid securities such as contingent capital securities, and the rest of its investments are made in other securities, mainly income-oriented securities such as corporate and taxable municipal debt and common equity.
