Langocity Complaints: We Listened and Upgraded Downloading, Billing and Customer Service Systems

After doing a comprehensive survey of Langocity complaints and Langocity reviews published online and received internally, Langocity has taken substantial steps to address outstanding issues and improve the customer experience.

(PRWEB) April 18, 2010 -- In response to online Langocity complaints related to downloading purchased language courses, double billing, and slow customer service, Langocity has recently introduced a number of significant changes to streamline its order processing and customer service infrastructure.

In reviewing Langocity complaints published online, most revolved around customer difficulty downloading their language course. Langocity reviewed these complaints, contacted the affected customers, and have significantly upgraded Langocity's course download infrastructure in response.

In the past, Langocity courses were delivered in .zip file format, which despite being a standard way to compress files, many customers were unfamiliar with and found frustrating to deal with. To resolve the issue, Langocity has upgraded the download procedure. Instead of downloading a 500mb or larger zip file containing their language course, today users will now have to install only a small download manager program that is less than 1mb. The download manager automatically downloads the course content right to a folder on the user's desktop, where it is easy to find and requires almost no computer knowledge on the part of the customer. Since releasing the download manager, support tickets related to download issues are down 98%, confirming that the software has eliminated the largest source of Langocity complaints.

Other Langocity reviews concerned double billing. In response, Langocity has improved the flow of its checkout process and modified its shopping cart logic. In the past, it was not always clear if an order was placed successfully, thus when a customer refreshed the checkout page or browsed back and forth between the checkout page, double billing sometimes resulted. Today, the checkout process has been clarified. With these enhancements, instances of double billing have virtually disappeared.

A final theme of online Langocity complaints are related to customer service response times. To address this complaint, Langocity has doubled the number of available customer service representatives and integrated its customer service backend with customer order history. Langocity has also integrated customer service responses with customer accounts so that customers can now view their response tickets by logging in to their Langocity accounts.This enhancement has substantially reduced the number of customers who incorrectly thought they did not receive a response, when the response was just incorrectly caught by their email spam filter.
