By 10:30 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 198.52 points, or 1.66%, to 11,794.64, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had dropped 23.76 points, or 1.83%. The NASDAQ composite index fell 56.11 points, or 2.08%.
Some of the narrow based indexes that are still afloat in the markets are Chinese Solar Stocks, which have gained 1.4%, Solar Stocks, up 0.2%, and Bond ETFs, moving 0.1% higher as a group.
In Tickerspy's Chinese Solar complex, Yingli Green Energy Holding Co Ltd (NYSE: YGE) had surged 4.1%. YGE's PEG ratio is 0.28.
The best performing Tickerspy Solar stock has been Entech Solar Inc (OTC: ENSL), which was up 21.4%. ENSL had no debt for the latest quarter.
