Kia Motors (OTC:
KIMTF) posted a 10% gain in its first-half net profit.
Kia Motors' consolidated net profit for the period climbed to KRW2.298 trillion, versus KRW2.081 trillion, in the year-ago period.
Its operating profit surged 25% to KRW2.34 trillion from KRW1.872 trillion, while sales rose 9.5% to KRW24.341 trillion from KRW22.238 trillion.
Kia Motors sold a total 1.39 million vehicles in the period.
