Tokyo Electron Ltd (OTC: TOELY) announced its plans to acquire the solar operations of Switzerland's Oerlikon Group.
The purchase price of the deal was not disclosed. The deal is likely to close over a period of several months.
Tokyo Electron shares closed at $107.55 on Friday.
