Qantas Reports Rise In Fiscal-Year Profit

Qantas Airways Ltd

reported a rise in its fiscal-year after-tax profit. Qantas' after-tax profit for the period surged to 249 million Australian dollars ($261.7 million), from A$116 million, in the year-earlier period. Its underlying profit before tax climbed 46% to A$552 million.
