Bitcoin Tumbles Below $26,000, THORChain, Synthetix Among Top Losers

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved lower, with the cryptocurrency prices trading below the $26,000 level on Monday.

Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded losses, trading below the key $1,700 mark this morning.

Optimism (CRYPTO: OP) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while THORChain (CRYPTO: RUNE) turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.05 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 1.1%. BTC was trading lower by 0.9% at $25,942 while ETH fell by around 0.4% to $1,668 on Monday.
