The SEC sued Coinbase for operating as an unregistered securities exchange, broker and clearing agency.
Quant (CRYPTO: QNT) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while The Sandbox (CRYPTO: SAND) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.08 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 4.4%. BTC was trading lower by 4.5% at $25,517 while ETH fell by around 3.3% to $1,806 on Tuesday.
