3D Systems Announces Infringement Ruling Against Envisiontec

3D Systems Corporation (Nasdaq:

) announced today that the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Southern Division, has entered a judgment of patent infringement in its favor against Envisiontec, Inc., Envisiontec GmbH and SIBCO, Inc. in a case brought by the company. The Court ruled that Envisiontec's Perfactory® systems infringe a claim of the company's U.S. Patent Number 5,630,981 and that Envisiontec's Vanquish systems infringe a claim of each of the company's U.S. Patent Numbers 5,630,981 and 5,651,934. Both of these patents relate to the company's stereolithography technology.
