Caixabank Posts Q4 Profit

) posted a profit in the fourth quarter. The bank swung to a quarterly net profit of EUR154 million ($174.3 million, versus a year-ago loss of EUR142 million. Analysts were expecting a profit of EUR215 million. Its net profit climbed 96% to 620 million euros ($703 million), versus analysts' estimates of 690.5 million euros. The bank restated its accounts for 2013. Its net interest income rose to EUR1.08 billion from EUR1.02 billion.
