NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock edged higher in Wednesday’s premarket trading as investors weighed mixed index futures and key technical levels.
NVIDIA gained 0.06% even as Nasdaq futures slipped 0.08%. Meanwhile, S&P 500 futures rose 0.19%, signaling a mixed start for major technology stocks.
Traders appeared focused on technical support levels and broader market sentiment. The stock remained near its short-term moving averages, suggesting investors were cautious about pushing shares higher.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Oct. 9, Freedom Capital Markets Chief Market Strategist Jay Woods warned of a potential bull trap after NVIDIA failed to sustain a breakout above $235.
Speaking on CNBC, Woods identified $215 to $220 as a potential downside range if selling continued. However, he remained bullish long term, saying two or three consecutive closes above $240 could pave the way for a rally toward $270.
Latest Collaborations
Separately, Danaher Corporation (NYSE:DHR) announced a collaboration with NVIDIA on Wednesday to integrate AI and accelerated computing into laboratory instruments and workflows, aiming to speed up scientific discovery.
In another development, London Stock Exchange Group plc (OTC:LSEGY) partnered with NVIDIA to accelerate historical market data analysis. Benchmark tests showed NVIDIA’s cuDF technology could reduce processing times from hours to seconds, helping financial institutions analyze large datasets faster.

Shares traded 2.5% above the 50-day SMA of $223.03, 6.6% above the 100-day SMA of $214.43 and 12.9% above the 200-day SMA of $202.54.

Benzinga Edge Rankings
NVIDIA’s Benzinga Edge rankings highlight strong growth, quality and momentum. However, its valuation remains a concern.
The stock has a Momentum score of 82.59 and a Quality score of 97.56.
Its Growth score stands at 98.05, reflecting strong business expansion. However, its Value score of 6.68 suggests the shares look expensive based on traditional valuation measures.
Overall, NVIDIA maintains a strong growth profile, although its premium valuation could make the stock sensitive to earnings disappointments.
