Pre-Market

Pre-market trading is the period before the official opening of U.S. stock exchanges, generally from 4 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time. It enables investors to respond to global events, earnings announcements, and economic data released outside regular hours. While liquidity is lower and volatility can be higher, pre-market activity often sets the tone for the trading day and provides early insight into market sentiment.
