Andreas Halvorsen is a Norwegian-born hedge fund manager and co-founder of Viking Global Investors, a Connecticut-based investment firm overseeing tens of billions in assets. Before founding Viking in 1999, Halvorsen was a senior portfolio manager at Julian Robertson’s Tiger Management, making him one of the prominent 'Tiger Cubs' in the hedge fund industry.
