The Fund invests in financial instruments that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should produce daily returns consistent with the Daily Target. The Index is designed to measure the performance of some of the largest U.S. companies. The Index includes 30 of the largest companies except those in the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) transportation industry group and utilities sectors. Companies may be included in the Index if the Index provider believes that the company has an excellent reputation, demonstrates sustained growth and is of interest to a large number of investors. The 30 companies selected are then weighted based on their price. Companies may be added or removed from the Index at any time. The Index is constructed and maintained by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC.
