Under normal circumstances, the Tema Obesity and Cardiometabolic ETF (formerly called Tema Cardiovascular and Metabolic ETF) seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80 percent of its net assets, which include borrowings for investment purposes, in publicly listed companies that derive at least 50 percent of revenues from products or services related to the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and/or metabolic diseases, as defined by the Centers for Diseases Control and Preventions (CDC). The Adviser will apply this definition to internal research and analysis based on company disclosure (such as 10-K filings, company presentations, capital markets day presentations) and other publicly available sources (e.g., sell-side research, biotechnology industry publications etc.) to make this assessment. Example companies include large pharmaceutical firms, development-stage biotechnology companies, diagnostic focused businesses with products used to diagnose and/or treat the aforementioned diseases, medical device companies focused on treatment of the aforementioned diseases, and healthcare service providers with a specific strategic focus on helping treat and manage the aforementioned diseases, each providing they meet the aforementioned revenue test.
