RAYOS, known as LODOTRA outside the United States, is a proprietary delayed-release formulation of low-dose prednisone for the treatment of moderate to severe, active RA in adults particularly when accompanied by morning stiffness. DUEXIS and VIMOVO compete with other branded NSAIDs, including Celebrex, marketed by Pfizer Inc. RAYOS/LODOTRA competes in Europe and in the United States with a number of products on the market to treat RA, including corticosteroids, such as prednisone, traditional DMARDs, such as methotrexate and biologic agents, such as HUMIRA and Enbrel.
