The Fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (including any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of companies, including other investment companies. The Fund invests, under normal market conditions, in a diversified portfolio of common stocks of large- and mid-capitalization issuers that, in the view of the Funds investment advisor, Madison Asset Management LLC (Madison or the Advisor), sell at a reasonable price in relation to their long-term earnings growth rates, exhibit a high degree of financial strength and are well-positioned competitively.
