What is Aidos Kuneen?

Aidos Kuneen is a cryptocurrency project that aims to create a transfer of value system that provides a higher level of anonymity and affordability when compared to traditional blockchain options.

One of the main issues that Aidos Kuneen attempts to solve is the scalability problem. Scalability is a major problem when it comes to adoption of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin into mainstream usage because blocks need to be consistently added to the blockchain to continue verifying transactions.

Aidos Kuneen’s network doesn’t rely on miners and staking like traditional blockchain, with each transaction on the network directly verifying 2 other transactions to validate them. This distributed ledger system still uses peer-to-peer network validation while providing a more scalable solution and lower transaction fees. The more transactions are made on the network, the more efficient the network becomes.

In addition to scalability problems, Aidos Kuneen’s network also aims to provide users with a greater level of privacy when completing transactions. The Aidos Kuneen network employs a function called “AKshuffle,” which utilizes a zero-knowledge, non-interactive protocol that keeps the users on the network completely anonymous. The company claims that the use of AKshuffle keeps all transactions on the network 100% untraceable and impossible to be connected to an individual user.

Aidoss Kuneen’s coin offering, ADK, facilitates transfer of value on the network. ADK runs on its own network, and you can buy and sell ADK across a number of exchanges. You can also purchase ADK directly through Aidos Kuneen after setting up a wallet here

How to buy Aidos Kuneen

  1. Open an online account.

If you’re only interested in investing in Aidos Kuneen, you can purchase ADK directly through the company’s website. Simply select a dollar investment using USD as a base, open your wallet and proceed with the transaction. Aidos Kuneen claims that the majority of its transactions close within 20 minutes of initiation, making direct purchase the easiest way to invest in their project.

If your interest in crypto doesn’t end with Aidos Kuneen, you’ll need to open an account with a cryptocurrency broker that supports Aidos Kuneen trading. Depending on where you live, you might have many options when it comes to selecting a broker and a trading platform or you may only be limited to a few choices.

Some of the factors that you might want to consider when you choose where to open an account can include:
*Access to additional tokens and coins beyond Aidos Kuneen
    *Funding methods and options
*Trading platform level of complexity and educational resources
*Additional assets available to buy and sell (for example, futures, stocks or options)

  2. Open a wallet.

If you don’t plan on actively trading your ADK, it’s a good idea to store your investment out of your exchange wallet and in a private software wallet. A software wallet is a desktop program that allows you to store your crypto using a private, personal set of keys that only you can access. Storing your cryptocurrency investments using a private wallet helps ensure that your investment is kept safe in the event of a hack.

We recommend using Aidos Kuneen’s official software wallet before you complete your first purchase, especially if you plan to invest in ADK directly through the company’s website. Simply copy and paste your login key, choose a passcode to unlock your wallet and safely store your ADK directly from your desktop computer.

After your account has been opened, you can manage and view your transactions, track your portfolio and sort your ADK. The official Aidos Kuneen software wallet is available as a free download for the Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. You can open your wallet here

  3. Make your purchase.

After opening your account, you can place an order to buy Aidos Kuneen. If you want to purchase your coins directly through Aidos Kuneen’s website, first open your software wallet. After your wallet is open, link a funding method. Follow the instructions on the company’s website and deposit your coins into your software wallet.

If you plan to purchase your coins through your cryptocurrency brokerage account, you’ll start by logging into your account and adding a funding method. The funding methods that you’ll have access to will vary depending on where you open your brokerage account. After your account has been funded, select an order type.

There are multiple types of orders that you might see through your account — some of the most common include:

Market orders: Market orders are executed at the current market rate. Market orders are executed quickly but give you little control over the price you pay per coin.
Limit order: Limit orders are executed at or below a limit price that you specify when you place the order. Limit orders give you complete control over the price that you pay per coin but may not be executed if the price of the coin doesn’t fall to your limit price.

Scalability is likely to continue to be an ongoing problem as cryptocurrency and blockchain solutions are introduced into mainstream usage. Though Aidos Kuneen has seen a price drop of more than 98% since its all-time high, it’s possible that the technology behind Aidos Kuneen might become more valuable as inherent problems with blockchains become more apparent.

Trade, Sell or Convert your ADK

When your order closes, you’ll see your ADK coins in your cryptocurrency wallet. After you own ADK, you’ll need to decide how you want to earn a return on your initial investment. You may do this through 1 of 3 strategies: trading, selling and converting.

Let’s take a look at each of these options and who they might be for.

  • Trading: Active investors strategically convert their Aidos Kuneen into a stablecoin (like Tether or USD Coin) when the price of Aidos Kuneen rises. Then, when the price drops again, active investors convert their stablecoin back to ADK with the goal of accumulating more Aidos Kuneen. You can then take profits from your stablecoin trade or by converting your ADK directly to fiat currency.
  • Selling: If you believe that the price of ADK will rise in the long-term, you might want to transfer your coins to your wallet and sell them at a later date. Sellers might hold onto their coins for months or even years at a time, while traders actively exchange their crypto investments on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Converting: Investors who are searching for a token available solely through ERC-20 exchanges (like Uniswap) may invest in Aidos Kuneen as a medium cryptocurrency to convert into a smaller ERC-20 offering.
