In a recent tweet exchange, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Inc., denied a comparison of his investment strategy to that of Warren Buffett.

What Musk Said: Jon Erlichman, a Bloomberg journalist, tweeted about Musk’s journey in a timeline, from selling PCs in his college dorm in 1990 to rebranding Twitter to “X” in 2023.

However, Musk replied to the tweet saying that the point of investing in Tesla was incorrect.

“You have the ‘invests in Tesla’ part wrong. Do I look like Warren f* Buffett to you?” Musk replied.

You have the "invests in Tesla" part wrong. Do I look like Warren f* Buffett to you?

Why It Matters: The tweet comes amidst a flurry of changes Musk is implementing at Twitter, now rebranded as X.com, including a logo change from the iconic bird to an “X”. Musk’s humorous response highlights his unique approach to business and investment, often contrasting with traditional strategies.

The logo change, as Musk mentioned, is part of a broader transformation of Twitter under his leadership, with the platform set to become part of the ‘everything app’, X.
