About Scott Rubin
My interests span a wide spectrum, and I try to make sure that my articles reflect a variety of investment topics and current affairs. I cover macro economics, mergers and acquisitions, hedge funds, stocks, ETFs, commodity futures, currencies, bonds, and try to make time for politics as well. I am a somewhat frequent trader and always have an eye on the markets, whether it be morning, noon, or night. One of the neat things about today's electronic marketplace is that trading is taking place somewhere in the world 24 hours a day. I try to stay plugged into not only what happens during U.S. stock market trading hours, but also in the overnight futures session as well as the exchanges in Europe and Asia. When I am not watching world events unfold through blinking numbers on a screen, I enjoy spending time outdoors in the Rocky Mountains of my adopted state of Colorado.
