Earlier, David Einhorn's Greenlight Capital released a letter to investors. In the letter, Greenlight focuses on the firm's Q1 performance, which amounted to a 6.8% gain.

Greenlight began the letter by debunking various Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) short theses. Greenlight noted that hedge funds are, broadly speaking, underweight Apple.

Earlier today, JP Morgan's research arm released a report outlining the prospects for an Apple TV. According to the analyst, Mark Moskowitz, consumers and investors alike shouldn't hold their breath, as any full-blown TV would be at least two years away.

This has lead some to doubt the prospect, questioning the possibility that a TV would even be released.
