WNS (Holdings) Ltd was incorporated on February 18, 2002. The Company, along with its subsidiaries is a business process management company with client service offices in Australia, London (UK), New Jersey (U.S) and Singapore and delivery centers in the People's Republic of China, Costa Rica, India, the Philippines, Poland, Romania, Republic of South Africa, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom and the United States. The Company's clients are in the banking, financial services, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, media, professional services, public sector, retail and consumer packaged goods ("CPG"), shipping and logistics, telecommunications, travel and leisure, and utilities industries. The Company has several operating segments based on a mix of industry and the types of services. These operating segments include travel, insurance, banking and financial services, healthcare, utilities, retail and consumer products groups, auto claims and others. The Company has two reportable segments "WNS Global BPM" and "WNS Auto Claims BPM". In WNS Auto Claims BPM segment, it provides both "fault" and "non fault" repairs. For "fault" repairs, it provides claims handling and repair management services, where it arranges for automobile repairs through a network of third party repair centers. WNS Global BPM is delivered out of its delivery centers. This segment includes all of its business activities with the exception of WNS Auto Claims BPM. The Company faces competition from onshore and offshore business process management companies and from information technology companies that also offer business process management services.
