Superior Ambulance to Outfit Entire Fleet With Digital Ally's DVM-250Plus Event Recorders

Digital Ally, Inc. DGLY ("Digital" or the "Company"), which develops, manufactures and markets advanced video surveillance products for law enforcement, homeland security and commercial applications, today announced that it has received a follow-on order from Superior Ambulance ("Superior") for approximately 175 additional DVM-250Plus Event Recorders. This order, which will be shipped in the current quarter, will allow Superior to complete the outfitting of its over 400 ambulances and paratransit vehicles with Digital Ally DVM-250Plus Event Recorders and access to the Company's FleetVU Manager cloud-based asset tracking and telematics software storage and management systems. "Superior Ambulance, with operations in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan, and a major presence in the Chicago area, has purchased 250 Event Recorders from us over the past two years, and it has now decided to install DVM-250Plus units in the remaining 175 vehicles in its fleet," stated Stanton E. Ross, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Ally, Inc. "In conjunction with this purchase of additional DVM-250Plus units, Superior is also purchasing a three-year subscription to our FleetVU Cloud management service for its entire fleet of over 400 vehicles. Performance and support are two of the primary reasons that we believe Superior chose Digital Ally units over competitors' products. The DVM-250Plus offers more comprehensive management and training tools and goes far beyond a conventional two-camera system. When combined with the modest monthly subscription fees for the FleetVU Cloud solution, the result is cost-effective, provides comprehensive monitoring of personnel and assets, enhances the safety of patients, and allows for self-management of all storage and data analysis requirements from the cloud." The three-camera DVM-250Plus systems, which are used in Superior's ambulances, are configured with a back-up camera to assist drivers and paramedics with backing, loading and unloading. The three-camera DVM-250Plus systems installed in paratransit vehicles are designed with the third camera monitoring the side doors from inside the vehicle to assist in securing and transporting passengers safely. "This is our largest deployment of the FleetVU solution and should generate traction and enthusiasm for the product, which features immediate driver feedback, asset tracking, pre-event recording of incidents, web-based fleet management, and monitoring capabilities to oversee driver performance," continued Ross. "This is a scalable fleet-wide management tool that produces video of significant events, such as wrecks and collisions, while using data analytics to evaluate overall driver and vehicle performance."
