Etsy Announces Closing of Initial Public Offering and Full Exercise of the Underwriters' Option to Purchase Additional Shares

, a marketplace where people around the world connect, both online and offline, to make, sell and buy unique goods, today announced the closing of its initial public offering and the exercise in full of the underwriters' option to purchase an additional 2,499,999 shares from selling stockholders. After the underwriters' exercise of the option to purchase additional shares, a total of 19,166,665 shares were sold at the price to the public of $16.00 per share for a total of $306,666,640 in aggregate gross proceeds, which included the sale of 5,833,332 shares by selling stockholders. Etsy will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholders. Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Allen & Company LLC, Loop Capital Markets LLC and The Williams Capital Group, L.P. acted as co-managers.
