Senior HP And VMware Leader Ofer Ben-David Named Jive's Executive Vice President Of Engineering

today named Ofer Ben-David as its new executive vice president of engineering. In this role, Mr. Ben-David will lead Jive's global software development organization as it accelerates the next phase of innovation with rapid engineering iteration across Jive's industry-leading enterprise communication and collaboration solutions. "Ofer is a technology guru in enterprise software. We are thrilled to have him join Jive and drive our stellar engineering team to uncover even more meaningful, modern and mobile ways for employees, customers and partners to work better together," said Elisa Steele, president of Jive. "It's a pivotal time for Jive as we accelerate the rapid pace of innovation our customers have come to expect, and Ofer brings a proven track record in leading engineering teams to deliver maximum results." Mr. Ben-David joins Jive from VMware, where he led a 1,000-person global organization as vice president of engineering. Prior to VMware, he ran research and development and quality assurance engineering services at HP and Check Point. Mr. Ben-David's experience, spanning nearly twenty years, includes full lifecycle product development, engineering and global operations for large scale on-premise and cloud enterprise software solutions. He will join Jive on December 19 and report directly to Ms. Steele.
