Kayne Anderson MLP Investment Company Announces 6.75M Share Public Offering of Common Stock

Kayne Anderson MLP Investment Company (the “Company”) (NYSE: KYN) announced that it has commenced a public offering of 6,750,000 shares of its common stock. The Company also intends to grant the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to 1,012,500 additional shares to cover over-allotments, if any. Net proceeds from the offering will be used to make additional portfolio investments that are consistent with the Company's investment objective and policies and for general corporate purposes.
