John F. Olsen Joins Fusion-io Board of Directors

Fusion-io FIO today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed John F. Olsen, age 61, as a director of the company, effective August 1, 2013. Olsen served as president and chief operating officer of Business Objects, a provider of business intelligence solutions, from 2001 to 2004, before becoming a private investor. He also served as a director of Borland Software Corporation from February 2005 to July 2009, and as chairman of that board from August 2006 to July 2009. Olsen will serve on the Audit Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Fusion-io Board of Directors.
