Orbitz Worldwide To Appoint Mitch Marcus as CFO

Orbitz Worldwide OWW today announced the appointment of Mitch Marcus as the company's chief financial officer (CFO), effective Nov. 12, 2012. Mitch will have global responsibility for accounting, financial planning & analysis, investor relations, tax, internal audit and treasury. He will be based at the Orbitz Worldwide headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. David Belmont, who has served as interim CFO since June 2012, will return to his position as group vice president, financial planning and analysis. "Mitch Marcus is an outstanding individual to lead the Orbitz Worldwide finance team given the breadth and depth of his background dealing with strategic financial issues," said Barney Harford, CEO, Orbitz Worldwide.
