U.S. Army and Con-way Truckload Partner in Recruiting Program

Representatives of the U.S. Army Recruiting Command and Con-way Truckload, a full truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc. CNW, will sign an agreement Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. CDT to provide priority hiring status to qualified soldiers participating in the Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program. The ceremony will take place at Con-way Truckload's headquarters at 4701 E. 32nd St. in Joplin. PaYS is a partnership between the Army and a cross-section of U.S. corporations and public sector agencies. It was developed to help the Army attract, train and deploy talented people who want to serve their country and secure future success once their Army service is complete.
