Silicom Awarded U.S. Patent for SETAC Server-to-Appliance-Converter Technology

Silicom Ltd. SILC today announced that it has been issued patent No. 8,199,523, entitled “Server-Based Network Appliance”, from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The patent confirms the uniqueness of Silicom's SETAC Server-to-Appliance-Converter concept and technology, thereby strengthening the Company's competitive positioning in the fast-growing network appliance industry.
