Onvia Files Definitive Proxy Materials and Sends Letter to Stockholders; Urges Stockholders to Reject Symphony's Opportunistic Attempt to Acquire Onvia

Onvia ONVI announced today that it has filed definitive proxy materials with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in connection with its 2012 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, to be held on May 31, 2012. Onvia's Board of Directors has also sent a letter urging stockholders to protect the value of their investment by rejecting Symphony's unsolicited and opportunistic attempts to acquire Onvia on inadequate terms. The Board recommends that stockholders vote for the election of Onvia's highly qualified nominees on the WHITE proxy card.
