From Earlier: Amicus Therapeutics Prices Underwritten Offering of 10M Shares at $5.70

Amicus Therapeutics, Inc.

announced today the pricing of an underwritten offering of 10,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $5.70 per share. After the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses, Amicus expects to receive net proceeds of approximately $54 million. In addition, Amicus has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,500,000 shares of its common stock. The offering is expected to close on March 7, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions. Leerink Swann LLC and Cowen and Company, LLC served as underwriters for the offering. The shares described above are being offered by Amicus pursuant to a registration statement previously filed with and subsequently declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
