HealthStream Announces Appointment of J. Edward Pearson as COO

announced today that J. Edward Pearson, senior vice president, has been promoted to senior vice president & chief operating officer, effective immediately, and Kevin P. O'Hara, senior vice president & general counsel, has resigned, effective September 16, 2011. Mr. O'Hara submitted his resignation in order to serve as chief executive officer of an early stage healthcare IT company focused on perioperative analytics and optimization. Michael M. Collier, formerly a corporate attorney at Bass, Berry & Sims PLC, joined HealthStream as vice president & general counsel on August 22, 2011.
