Dan Nathan spoke on the show about an options strategy that he
suggested on November 6.
Nathan had a bearish view on
iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Indx (ETF)EEM and after he recommended a short position, the stock traded 5 percent lower and bounced back. At one point the trade was worth almost double and Nathan said that is always a wise decision to take some profits in such situations.
After the close on Friday, the December 35/32 put spread is worth $0.60 and he has a $0.10 loss, but he is still bearish on iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Indx and he wants to keep the trade on. If the stock continues to move higher, he is planning to readjust the strikes on his put spread.
