A portable Wi-Fi gadget from Novatel Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ: NVTL) that lets you browse the internet anywhere will take the wi-fi market by storm, thinks Barron's. The battery-powered device uses a 3rd generation cellular modem to connect to the internet, then converts that to a wi-fi signal. 5 separate devices within a radius of 30 feet can connect to the internet using this device.

Novatel, a small San Diego outfit, is at 11.09, a fall of 3.9%, and is a very good buy given Barron's prediction that Novatel's earnings will skyrocket 150% in 2010, to at least 90 cents a share from an estimated 35 cents this year.
