Monday's Technology Winners (AAPL, FFIV, NFLX, ARUN, AMD)
A number of prominent technology stocks are making big moves during Monday's trading session despite some broad market weakness.
Apple (AAPL) shares have risen 1.68% to $341.77 as the company is expected to announce a Verizon iPhone tomorrow.
F5 Networks (FFIV) has surged 2.71% to $142.10 during the session. The company released some new Apps for the App Store.
According to a company press release, the new products provide iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch users with convenient, secure, and accelerated access to corporate materials and ensure IT teams can confidently support both corporate and personal devices.
Netflix (NFLX) shares have jumped 3.41% to $185.41 on no news. The stock has been on the weak side over the last month, falling 4.69%.
Aruba Networks (ARUN) has gained almost 6% to $24.70 during Monday's trading session. This stock, unbelievably, has already gained 18% in 2011. Keep an eye on this name.
AMD shares have added 3.51% to $9.14 after the stock was upgraded by both Nomura and Morgan Stanley. Volume has been extremely heavy with 30 million shares trading hands compared to a daily average of around 16 million.
