IsoRay announced Tuesday that Discovery Channel has featured the Company's Cesium-131 brachytherapy (internal radiation therapy) treatment for localized prostate cancer. Discovery Channel Chief Medical Expert John Whyte, MD, MPH, spoke with UPMC urologist Dr. Ronald Benoit about the advantages of using Cesium-131 over traditional isotopes. Dr. Benoit explained that UPMC has been using Cesium-131 over a six year period. UPMC's study found that its patients benefited from the minimally invasive treatment that resulted in reduced urinary problems. Typically, urinary problems last up to 18 months after treatment with other brachytherapy options. When using Cesium-131, Dr. Benoit explained, urinary symptoms were gone in 3 to 6 months. IsoRay closed at $1.17 on Tuesday. North American Energy Partners Shares of North American Energy Partners (NYSE: NOA), a provider of heavy construction, mining, piling and pipeline services in Western Canada, rose 27.89% Tuesday on twice the average daily volume. North American Energy Partners announced Monday that Martin Ferron will join the Company as President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the Board effective at the close of business on June 7, 2012. Ron McIntosh, Chairman of NAEP said, "Martin is an exceptional leader with a long track record of driving execution and achieving strong financial and operational performance for companies in the oil services and construction industries." North American Energy Partners closed at $3.21 on Tuesday. Freeze Tag Shares of Freeze Tag (FRZT), the Tustin, CA creator of casual family games for mobile and PC/Mac platforms, rose 78.57% Tuesday on almost 8 million shares. There was no specific news to account for the move. A company spokesperson told Benzinga that he believed the general interest in gaming stocks most likely was responsible.
