General Information
Aberdeen Global Dynamic Dividend Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The fund's primary investment objective is to seek high current dividend income, more than 50% of which qualifies for the reduced federal income tax rate, as created by the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003.

The fund also focuses on the long-term growth of capital as a secondary investment objective. The fund's portfolio holdings are in information technology, financials, health care, and consumer discretionary sectors, among others.
