Lean hog futures are trading lower Monday morning. August Lean Hogs are trading at 75.27, down 0.42 and October hogs are trading at 63.05, down 0.40. December Hogs are trading at 60.47, down 0.20. Trading is weak and choppy.
Market talk that last week hogs were held back due to hot weather and the kills really did not decline much is making the rounds. Better weather forecasts for movement and demand concerns has led to some selling on rallies.
