Friday's USDA Cattle slaughter was 111,000 head versus a year ago at 113,000 head.

Live cattle futures traded choppy with a wide range. June Live Cattle was trading lower at 152.25, down 1.25. August Cattle was trading at 150.80, down 1.27.
