Monday's USDA hog slaughter was 409,000 head versus a year ago at 391,000 head. Lean Hogs were unable to add to Friday's gains and traded mostly lower on Monday. At last check June hogs were trading at 84.25, down 0.57 and July Hogs traded at 83.67, down 0.25.
