Live Cattle Higher

April Live cattle is trading at 157.15, up 0.57. June Live Cattle is trading at 148.97, up 0.50. Trading is firm. Market talk that cash cattle is helping to support prices has brought some buyers in. Trading is expected to be choppy with both buyers and sellers active ahead of tomorrow's cattle on feed report.

On Friday after the close, the USDA Cattle on Feed report is due out. Chatter about better consumer demand for beef during April was making the rounds on Thursday. Some market talk about concerns have been raised about the lower growth outlook for the U.S.
